Our Squirrels class is our ante pre-school class, for children aged three to four, and it sees pupils develop their literacy and numeracy skills through engaging, active play both inside the classroom and through inspiring outdoor activities.

Our Squirrels enhance their love of outdoor learning by makng full use of Lathallan's extensive grounds,

They are given farming responsibilities such as feeding the school pigs, they splash in the estates burn, go fishing in the river, collect conkers, climb trees and build a campfire to toast marshmallows in the school's outdoor learning area Narnia.

Our Squirrels also develop their knowledge of different cultures and celebrations, such as topic work on Diwali or creating a poppy wreath for Remembrance Day.
