Scholarships

Lathallan School offers an outstanding learning environment for all young people to excel.

Our Scholarships are designed to celebrate talent and promote achievement in our Senior School. Each year, we offer a limited number of scholarship places to exceptionally talented individuals.

Pupils with exceptional potential can apply for S1 & S5 Scholarships in their area of excellence. As well as the prestige of being a Lathallan Scholar, successful applicants also benefit from a fee remission, of up to 25%.

A Scholarship is a recognition of excellence and potential in candidates from any background, and therefore can be held along with a bursary (means-tested fee assistance).

We are now accepting applications for pupils seeking an S5 Scholarship for August 2022.

Applications must be submitted by 18th March 2022. S5 Scholarships Awards are available in the following fields:

• Academic
• All-rounder
• Sports (general)
• Rugby
• Netball
• Drama
• Music
• Bagpipes/Marching drums
• Ecology (New Scholarship for 2022)

Our Admissions Officer will be able to provide more specific information on individual scholarships and you can read the guidance that is downloadable below.

It is expected that all scholarship pupils will be positive role models within the school community and will make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school.

At Lathallan School, Scholars benefit from a rich academic environment, a challenging intellectual programme and the company of like-minded young people.
