Lathallan Junior School

At Lathallan we inspire our pupils to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.
Our small class size ethos, with an average of 12 pupils per class, helps inspire individual learning. We have specialist teachers across a range of subjects including Science, French, Music, Art and Sport.
We also make full use of the school's unique coastal location and expansive grounds to offer regular engaging lessons outside the classroom.
Junior School pupils have recently done creative writing lessons in our treehouse classroom and learned about co-ordinates, history and sustainability during a campfire treasure hunt lesson (video below).

We also have an on-site school farm, with pigs, chickens and a range of fruit and vegetables that the Junior School pupils harvest for food to be freshly prepared by our highly-experienced team of chefs.
Our J7 class also benefit from the first steps in DofE training and the John Muir Award as the develop climbing, mountaineering and volunteering skills on an outdoor expedition trip to Glenshee as you can see from the video below.
